I would love to find another tales that can prove me wrong but i have yet to find any and i completed Abyss over ten years ago Luke will always be one of my all time favorite fictional characters. Abyss had existentional and identity issues that made me question a lot of things. just personally for me a game that can't keep me engaged and questioning things will make me bored very fast. The stories in recent tales games just don't live up to the bar Abyss has set for me tbh, even if the combat system is fun asf. very simple story that didn't try too hard) and Graces F (i didnt rly like the story in Graces). the other tales game i completed were Eternia (Eternia was ok. I get bored with most of the tales' stories and dropped most of them halfway through. when it comes to SPs, the story is the most important for me. i've played the other tales and none of their stories moved me as much as Abyss's. Idc what anyone says imo Abyss has its flaws but it has the best story.
